While many people across Kansas appreciate the late-July rain, it forced the National Baseball Congress World Series to do something unusual Sunday night. It scheduled non-stop games all night.

The NBC World Series already had "Baseball Round the Clock" planned for next weekend. But that schedule has an early-morning break of several hours. Monday morning went beyond that, with games moved to 3:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. to get back on schedule after rain delays.

The "feature game" of Sunday night didn't start until 3 a.m. And it ran long, so the 5:30 game actually started around sunrise at 6:30. After that, the regularly scheduled resume with a game at 10:00 a.m.
