The clip has literally catapulted the dying teen to fame and won him parts on Australian television programs The Footy Show and Neighbours, and has even inspired a rap song, reported the HeraldSun.com.

Despite his new found fame, Wilson-Miller said the toughest part about knowing he is going to die is having to leave his girlfriend.

"Yes, it's love," he revealed about the fellow heart patient. "We've been going out for 2 1/2 weeks, but we've been friends for seven years.

"The hardest thing for me is leaving her, knowing that I won't get to marry her. To have kids together. To grow old together. That is what makes me sad."

Wilson-Miller touched the hearts of millions around the world with his inspirational message to his friends and family urging them to live their lives to the fullest and to look after his dad when he was gone. He intended to simply post it to his Facebook friends, but a technical glitch meant it landed on YouTube, and Shaun woke up the next day to find it had 10,000 hits.

Some people have accused the cancer-riddled boy of being an attention-seeker, but he said, ?I just want to have fun. I want to enjoy my life.

"The way I look at it is I didn't get to decide this. These are the cards I've been dealt. I just have to roll with the punches,? he explained.

"I have had two heart transplants, had a stent put in, and an aneurysm. I have had 10 more years than I should have because of that. I want to go out with a bang."
